About the Program
For any student who wants a well-rounded Music experience with opportunities to perform and develop their practical skills while receiving coursework in theory and exposure to a variety of musical styles and genres.
Focus of Study
The General Music Minor combines a solid introduction to music theory along with plenty of lower and upper-division elective options.
Program Requirements
- 19 credit hours within Music
- 9 upper-division credit hours (3000-4999 level)
- 2.0 Minor GPA (grade of C or better in any course counted toward the minor)
- Residency: Last 10 credit hours of the minor must be completed while registered at UCCS
