About the Program

The Minor in Music Technology provides a thorough introduction to studio sound production.

Focus of Study

This minor is designed for students who want to make the recording studio their natural habitat. Courses include two semesters of Audio Engineering and two semesters of Computer Music.

Program Requirements

  • 18 credit hours within Music
  • 9 upper-division credit hours (3000-4999 level)
  • 2.0 Minor GPA (grade of C or better in any course counted toward the minor)
  • Residency: Last 9 credit hours of the minor must be completed while registered at UCCS
