Scholarships for Visual Art Students

HARRIS VISUAL ART SCHOLARSHIP - DEADLINE MARCH 1

The Jeniel Harris Visual Art Scholarship is a need-based award for students pursuing a degree in Visual Art in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. Awards are granted based on artistic merit and given to Visual Art concentrations with financial need. Women over the age of 30 are especially encouraged to apply for this award. Typically one $1,000 award is made per year. Although not renewable, previous recipients are encouraged to reapply for the award. Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!

SUZY WEINERT SCHOLARSHIP FOR FINE ARTS - DEADLINE MARCH 1

The Suzy Weinert Scholarship is a need-based award for Colorado Springs resident students pursuing a degree in Visual Art in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts and entering their junior or senior year. Awards are granted based on artistic merit and given to Visual Art concentrations with financial need. Women especially are encouraged to apply for this award. Scholarship awards range from $500-$1,000. Although not renewable, previous recipients are encouraged to reapply for the award. To qualify, students must demonstrate financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st.  Women candidates are strongly encouraged to apply!
