About the Program

The Theatre & Dance Dual Major program at UCCS is designed to prepare students for a career in theatre or dance with strong experience in both, while also providing cross-disciplinary breadth in other arts disciplines.

Focus of Study

The Theatre & Dance program represents the importance of the inter-disciplinarity of the program.

The dual concentration provides a strong foundation in performance histories and practice, including acting, dancing, directing, choreography, and technical production, as well as a broad background in visual and performing arts.

Students pursuing the dual concentration will work with faculty to create a balance of theatre and dance courses.
