Vlad Benedetti is a multi-media artist and Colorado native. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design and living/working on the East Coast for 17 years, they moved back to Colorado, using the Rockies as further research and inspiration for an ongoing project called SAFARINON. Vlad has lived in Paris, Vienna, and Reykjavik as a working artist in residence, has shown work both as a solo artist and in group shows at NADA, Art Basil, Center-Berlin, The Sound Museum, The Power Plant, Art in General, iCi, Drop Dead Festival, World Dominance International Film Festival, The Walters Art Museum, The New Museum, RedLine Contemporary Art Center, featured on Rhizome.org, and co-founded/co-curated an experimental and performance art gallery in Cambridge Boston, winning Best Gallery of Boston in 2010. As a working artist in the design world, Vlad was a character artist for 5 years on the MTV/Viacom video game franchise ROCKBAND.
