About the Program
Giving students a broad overview of the history and practice of dance, the minor in Dance is an excellent addition to another VAPA major or to another degree for students who wish to hone their technical or choreographic skills.
Focus of Study
The minor in Dance gives students an appreciation of the history and practice of dance. The program is flexible enough that students are able to focus either on choreography or on dance performance through selection of electives.
