Gregory T.S. Walker and Tiki Beat Taboo

An interactive jazz-rock journey back in time to the Pacific islands with the Tiki Beat Taboo house band featuring drummer Thomas VanSchoick, bassist George Lacson, vocalist Jamie Beekman, trumpeter Dashiel Walker, vibraphonist Parker James, and electronic guitarist Gregory T.S. Walker.  Retro exotic stylings will be augmented with live video, spoken word, and performance art to transport a lucky audience deep, deep into their own imaginations.  

 The UCCS community will be exposed to a new twist on a nostalgic musical novelty - 1960s Exotica - and introduced to top Denver artists, all while embodying a sense of discovery that spans from tribal Polynesian history to the West Coast's fantastical Tiki culture craze.
