About

Nick Henning received his MFA in Studio Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA in Printmaking, with a minor in Art History, from Indiana University. He is currently working as the Visual Art Technician supporting students and faculty in VA.
 
Through sculpture, painting and print- his artistic work centers around process, mark making, materials, and subdued humor. Taking inspirations from graphic design, architecture and abstraction- his most recent work are formal studies of the ineffectual aspects of being a maker and an artist.
